Videoendoscopy is an outpatient procedure done by the surgical department to visualize the interior of upper gastrointestinal tract. It helps to diagnose any pathology in the GI tract upto the duodenum. If any lesion is detected by this procedure, biopsy can be taken through the endoscope and histopahtological examination is possible for accurate diagnose.
